My unmarried elder brother made me nominee of his assets before his death. Does anybody claim any  portion from me ?

As per Indian customs you should consult the wife, son, daughter of your elder brother for the status and their claim. It is always better to avoid any disputes that can be fatal in some cases.

As per standing on Law in India on this matter, you can claim your right to everything (limited to part mentioned) that you are nominee as per his will.
