I am serving in central Government of India at Delhi and I have marriage of close relative where I must go. I have to go there for at least 3 days but during that period there is important work that I requires me to be present. My boss denied ant kind of leave.

So, can I go on leave without intimation and permission?

This question is asked by most of the immature officials and employees and especially in Government. I will never recommend for going without intimation and permission otherwise you may lose your job if your boss gets annoyed and is powerful enough.

Just be yourself and try to convince your boss for his consent. Like, you can ask for other work that you can do extra for this leave and depute someone else in your place when you are on leave. Try to think of something but no bunking from office. Better talk to your boss.
