I  had booked one shop in newly constructing multiplex in 2008 & payments was going in 10-10% slabs. after 3-4 installments, builder didn`t send any body to collect the installment & later that project became failure.

just recently came to know that old builder sold this project to new builder with out making our due payments to us. New builder is demolishing the old structure.

When contacted initially, he rejected & said that amount is for forfeited even he didn`t send anybody to collect or didn`t ask for the payments.

in the documents, we only have his first installments receipts & later installments were paid in cash, which he agrees upon.

my question is can we bring stay on this project, until we get our compensation. What are the other legal ways we have in our hand.

Thanks
